Unfortunately they're (BC) not soft enough Markie, at least against this Winnipeg team. In fact I honestly look for coach Berry to get the boot very shortly. After watching that second half, it appears to me as though many of the Winnipeg players have simply packed it in as far as playing for the guy.
I mean c'mon, the Lions offered this game to them on a silver platter in the first half and they still couldn't take advantage of the gift and a defensive TD on the opening series of the second half to sum up their second half point total? Listen in this league, any team that can't even muster a fucking single point in an entire half of play is simply not interested in playing at all imo.
BC didn't play a great game; in fact the Lions were much better in the first of the two meetings. Winnipeg is in dire straits and the ship is sinking fast. Now normally when this occurs, it's the coach who gets the boot and if he (Doug Berry) doesn't get ousted this week, well lets just say they have Calgary and their high powered offense on deck and that might cause an entire mutiny.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a dismal team at this stage--plain & simple!
